A couple of Saturdays ago I met Jenn, John and little Sebastian at Edworthy Park for a gorgeous fall session. I love fall! It is my most favourite season: the colours, the leaves, wearing layers, scarves and cute hats. A baby session in the fall is an even sweeter deal, just try and resist Sebastian’s cute little face with the autumn leaves behind him! Sebastian was a perfect little model, happy and smiley, didn’t fuss once! I seriously love so many of the images from this session, it was so difficult to choose which ones to blog! Thank you Jenn, John, and Sebastian for spending the afternoon with me! It was great to see you again! (This is how Sebastian looked the last time I photographed him!)
Colleen & Ricardo met when Colleen left her home in Regina, SK, to go to Peru to work on a community development project. They were neighbours and ended up working on the same project together. They had no idea what would transpire between them and how their lives would change! Ricardo told the story best at the reception, but to make a long story short, one year after Colleen & Ricardo met, they were married in Peru. In Colleen’s words, “we just couldn’t wait another day!”. I was fortunate to be a part of their Canadian wedding, over a year after their Peruvian wedding. As I was photographing these two I was taken aback by the love that is still bursting between the two of them. They were so natural, so happy, and so smitten with one another, which of course, you will see in the images from their special day in Canada.
Because we were doing the formal photos before the ceremony, we set up a “first look” for Colleen and Ricardo on the balcony of the Conexus Centre of the Arts. I love when couples have a first look, it is always such a special, private moment between the Bride and Groom.
After the first look, we went to a few different places in Regina for photos. These two made my job easy!
We headed back to the Conexus Centre of the Arts for the wedding ceremony, which flowed seamlessly into the wedding reception.
I was able to steal Colleen & Ricardo away for photos in some beautiful light before the sunset.

In August, I spent an awesome day with Chris and Brandi as they exchanged vows. It was an absolutely beautiful day, full of beautiful people! Thank you, Chris and Brandi, for having me document your wedding day! Congratulations!
While I was in my hometown, Estevan, SK, for a wedding (blog post coming soon!), I shot Kimberly and Marcus’ engagement session. Kimberly is Melody’s sister and I actually used to work with Marcus at the local A&W when we were both teenagers! Time flies, and now these two are getting hitched in June 2012.
Congratulations on the engagement, guys! Looking forward to your wedding!
In August I had the privilege of spending the afternoon with Erin and Andrew, their sweet girl, Meghan, and Erin’s mother and grandmother! You may remember Erin & Andrew from photo shoots such as their maternity session and Meghan’s newborn session. Meghan is just one of the cutest and happiest little girls ever, and her little smirks and grins had me smiling the entire time I was editing their session. Thanks for the fun afternoon, I look forward to photographing your family again in the future!
Kaidi and Everett met last summer in Estonia. A year later, they are now married! I was so fortunate to be able to photograph their unique wedding which was held in Rakvere, Estonia.

Here’s the full sneak peek into Ryan, Shannon and Harlow’s family session from last Saturday! What a beautiful, kind and sweet family! This was my second time photographing them (here’s Harlow’s newborn session) and they are truly a joy to be around and so great in front of the camera. Hello friends! I haven’t been here for a while. It’s been a nice, slow season for me and I have been enjoying the extra time that I have had with my family since January.
